Hey there...
Now, let's get down to business. Discover the latest things I am obsessed with - from revitalizing breathwork to invigorating cold plunges and effective back-strengthening techniques.
1. The Power of Breath
Wim Hof Method
First up is the Wim Hof Breathing Method. I got my introduction to it about 10 years ago when my buddy Rich from Rich Nuts. We hosted a weekend workshop with Wim Hof himself in LA. We had a group of 40 people, and we filled my clawfoot bathtub in the backyard with ice.
That was my first taste of cold and breathwork at that level. It's been a part of my life ever since. Whenever I'm going through something challenging, breathwork always helps. My buddy Johann has a practice called Pyramid Breath. Check it out here. Also, here's the video that Kate and I made demonstrating the Wim Hof Method.
You can follow along and do it every day. It's a cornerstone of health, both mentally and physically.
2. Cold Plunges
With Therasage
Staying on the subject of cold baths, there's a family-run company that I'm loving right now called Therasage.
I've been using their saunas for a while. They're portable and affordable. Using an infrared sauna is a great way to pull out toxins and metals, especially given the fact that we're exposed to over 80 toxic chemicals every day.
They just launched Therafrost, a portable and inflatable cold plunge. So dope! Check it out here. Plus, they gave me a code - PG20 - for you to get a 20% discount.
The science is on their page, and their customer service is amazing.

3. Strengthen Your Back
Foundation Training
The third thing I wanted to share is called Foundation Training. I've mentioned this before, but it's a great way to strengthen your posterior chain. If you've got back pain, this is a good place to start. There's a 3-minute routine here that you can do. I would start there for about a week or two, and then you can jump up to the 11-minute one here. Dr. Eric Goodman, the chiropractor who developed it, is a stand-up guy.
Watch this post with Jeff Bridges.
His work has helped so many people with lower back pain. Give it a try, or forward this post to someone who could use it. He's got an app, too.
And with that, I'm out.
Enjoy your weekend. Remember to be kind, gentle, tender, and loving towards yourself on purpose.
Don't just survive this life - thrive!
See you soon
